Christina started working out at a local Y after she quit college dance. She needed a physical outlet to fill the hole where dance once was. Working out was that outlet and she got serious about it taking up CrossFit in 2008. Throughout the years Christina stayed committed to CrossFit, competing in the sport and even making 4 Regionals and 1 CrossFit Games appearance. She began her coaching career in 2010 completing her Level 1 Certification and started coaching full time. From there she opened a CrossFit gym in Tulsa, Oklahoma with two other co-owners and eventually moved on to St. Louis to manage and work at two CrossFit gyms there. Needing a little more Christina decided to return to Tulsa, Oklahoma and open Revel Strength and Fitness where she has been running and coaching since 2016. She has worked hard and earned her Level 3 CrossFit Certification making her a CCFT. Christina’s passion is coaching people. She has extensively studied the mechanics of every modality CrossFit has to offer and has coached over 10,000 hours in the gym. She wants people to know that Revel will meet you wherever you are in life. You don’t have to be a certain age, fitness level or body type. Revel can and will help you reach your goals.
Rachel has been involved in sports and fitness since she was in middle school. She lettered in both Track & Field and Basketball while in High School. While in High School she also coached girls Little League softball and the city league softball team I played on. Rachel continued to feed her passion for sports by signing up for various distance running races in Tulsa. Rachel has run over 20 marathons and ultra marathons, one including a 50 miler and many duathlons and triathlons. She became a Marathon Maniac in 2012 by running 2 marathons in 14 days. She ran a 100k in 3 days and placed 1st in her age group and in 2009 ran 46 races to earn the Tulsa Running Club race series that year. Rachel not only coaches classes at Revel but she also is the head of the Revel Running Group which mets on Sunday mornings and runs various distances around Tulsa. Rachel wants those who are interested to know that Revel is a great place to obtain whatever fitness goals you may have for yourself without feeling you're in a competition to get them. It's where you go to get the best technical training possible without spending a lot of money on a personal trainer. It's where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came! Cheers!"
Becca got hooked on CrossFit after using it to help her lose the last of her baby weight after giving birth to her daughter Parker. She had been active her entire life in one form or the other starting off with sports in high school, cheer, pom and then running after college. Becca started out as a regular member at Revel and fell in love with the community and knew she wanted to take her fitness to the next level, helping people fall in love with their fitness journey like she did. After COVID Christina asked her to come on as a coach and she’s never looked back. She loves motivating others and finding unique was to teach complex movements in the gym. She wants anyone who is interested in Revel to come in, show up for yourself and have fun.
